Located in a grassland desert region, it comprises 48 photovoltaic sub-array units and a 37.5 MW/4-hour energy storage system.
Located in an arid continental climate zone with large temperature differences, low humidity, and cold winters, the system was designed for reliable operation in such harsh environments and has been operating stably on the grid for three years. Through coordinated operation of photovoltaics and energy storage, the intermittency of photovoltaic power generation has been improved, curtailment of solar power has been reduced, and the local renewable energy supply and grid support capabilities have been enhanced.
